Have you ever had to communicate something to a mass audience? Isn’t it funny how the larger the audience is, the more you worry about what you’re going to say? Just writing this now has caused serious concern on my part. At first I was just going to write a “blog” but then I thought, “that means it is going to be on the internet. The Internet! Potentially thousands are going to read this thing.” (More than likely one or two, but go with me on the analogy)

Choosing my words… Thinking of what those words are communicating. It becomes a challenge when there is a potential audience larger than my own thoughts (or my two year old son). Not only is this true, but the words I use will be a reflection of not just myself and my beliefs, but of Central Bible College as well.

Similarly, we should have this same thought process every morning (or afternoon) when we wake up. Choosing our clothes and what cereal (Lucky Charms) to eat shouldn’t be the only thing we’re thinking about. If our life truly is a communication tool, “a letter from Christ”  then we need to carefully consider what we are communicating to the audience before us in each moment of our day.
